What
a sensational turn out for the first dinner dance. It was a
sell out dance. The food was catered by Lucci's Italian Deli of Huntington
Beach, California. The price of the tickets were $10.00 per person.
The Band donated their time. However Frank Ivanovich, passed the
hat around to raise money to give to these men who were not looking to
be paid. But through Frank's passing of the hat, the boys in the
band did receive a healthy sum per person. Frank who was the treasurer
of the Newport Mesa Halfway House , which today is now called; "The
Harold & Justine Richards Foundation." Frank still today is the treasurer;
year 2007.
